What you expect going in
When you first come across Lovense working with 3DXChat, it’s a pretty intriguing idea.
The concept is straightforward: what happens in the game is reflected through the device. Movement, pacing, interaction, all tied together in real time.
For this piece, we tried it using a Lovense Gush 2 (which we received from Lovense for testing purposes), mainly to get a feel for how this kind of setup actually plays out inside 3DXChat.
The main question going in was simple: what it actually adds once you’re in-game.
Getting it up and running
There’s a bit of setup involved before you get to the actual in-game part.
In our case, it didn’t take long, but it’s not something you’re using within a minute either.
Basically, you have to:
- install the Lovense Remote app
- connect your Lovense toy to the app
- link everything to 3DXChat using a QR code
That’s it: now everything is in place and ready to use in-game.
What it feels like in-game
Any time you start a sexual interaction in 3DXChat, your toy immediately reacts to what’s happening in-game. The vibration matches the timing of the sex acts. So if things speed up or slow down, the device adjusts with it.
In our case, this worked without any extra setup. As soon as the connection was active, the toy responded automatically and in sync.
I have to say, it does really make a difference. For the first time, you’re not just watching the action. Now you’re really feeling it, too.
You don’t even control your toy manually anymore. The actions in the game drive what happens, and the device follows along.
Where it makes sense
My opinion? If you’re just jumping into 3DXChat for a few minutes and a quick look-see, it’s not going to be a game changer (pun intended). But once you start to spend some real time in there, especially when making a real connection with a real person and taking it to the next level, it really adds an extra layer.
And isn’t that just where it shines? 3DXChat already gives you the visual side, the interaction, the back and forth. This just takes it one step further, into the realm of physical touch.
You can especially see the appeal for couples or long-distance situations. If you’re already using 3DXChat to spend time together, this can make that interaction a lot more direct.
At some point, once you’re used to it, this stops feeling like a gadget and just naturally becomes a part of how you’re using the game.

Final take
Lovense with 3DXChat does what you expect it to do, and in the right context, it really adds something extra.
It’s not something you NEED to enjoy the game. But it does make it better. Once you start using it, you might find it makes the whole experience feel just that bit more complete.
